Your ward councillors Brian Bishop, Maxine Fothergill and Chris Taylor, met with Sgt Glen Turner and the local Safer Neighbour Team on Sunday 9th May to discuss crime and disorder issues within Colyers Ward.

The meeting was very productive, and the team will be working with the police, Orbit Housing, Bexley Council and other partners to ensure that Colyers has the maximum resources deployed to tackle important crime and community safety issues in the local area.

The Team, campaigning on The Larner Road Estate

Colyers Ward councillors Chris Taylor, Maxine Fothergill and Brian Bishop, recently conducted a walk about on the Larner Road estate to monitor the quality of facilities and amenities. The grounds of the estate were in good condition, however there was damage to the exterior door to one of the blocks.

The team will be working closely with Orbit Housing over the next four years to ensure close partnership working in the interests of residents.
